1. Don’t hit the trees
Ah yes, I can hear you asking, “but why do a lot of disc golfers seem to throw their discs at the trees on purpose then?” For some players, it’s a subtle way to show off. They’ll point out that hitting the one tree in a wide open field is almost as impressive as a hole-in-one. However, all that showboating will add up at the end of the round. Take it from me – don’t hit the trees and you’ll instantly shave strokes off your score!!
Phew! Now that we have that out of the way, let’s move on to disc golf tip #2!
2. Practice your grip
One of the most important things to work on when you’re not aiming for trees is your grip. The power grip (see below)is the most common grip used in disc golf. However, there are several other grips you can easily learn that will help you level up your game ASAP.
